Abstract: | In view of the importance of this project, nation-wide, several major research projects have combined to take the first step in a national approach to research into reuse of biosolids on soil and the ecotoxicological and food quality impacts of contaminants in these materials (http://www.awa. asn.au/NSIG/bio/index.asp). The data gathered will augment the information already available from biosolids re-use research programs in various agencies. Laboratory and field experimentation have a common experimental design, allowing integration of the data and extrapolation to a wide range of soil and crop environments. |
