dc.description.abstractWe fabricated Er-Yb codoped tellurite spheres for strong upconversion WGM lasing with Q up to 27,000 for 15μm diameter and achieved the index sensitivity of 8.8nm/RIU. Strong amplitude modulation in the modes was also observed. © 2013 The Optical Society.-
