Abstract: A key parameter in a CO2 flooding process is its solubility in the crude oil that results in oil swelling accompanied by a reduction of its viscosity. Where experimental data are not available these physical properties are often determined by using correlations available in the literature. While such correlations are useful for certain conditions they are not applicable in many situations.
