Abstract: | This article reports a 3-D printing intelligent insole gait monitoring system based on an embedded fiber Bragg grating (FBG). The smart insole combines 3-D printing technology and FBG sensors providing high sensitivity and endpoint low cost. Results using pressure points measured by four FBGs are sufficient to differentiate foot loads and gait types. |
