Abstract: (e,2e) triple differential cross section measurements have been performed on the inner 3s orbital of argon for an incident energy of 113.5 eV and several low ejected electron energies. Large structures are predicted by theory in regions which have been previously inaccessible experimentally due to angular constraints of the apparatus. A magnetic angle changer was used to deflect these regions to angles which were accessible to with our apparatus. This represents the first (e,2e) measurements using this technique.
