Abstract: | We report on the development of small-core high-NA lead silicate and bismuth glass holey fibers. We measured high nonlinearity (1100 W-1 km-1 in bismuth holey fiber) and predicted near-zero or anomalous dispersion at 1550 nm. © 2004 Optical Society of America. |
