| Abstract: | Acacia baileyana is investigated for horticulture and weediness. Weed status is due to numerous flowers followed by many seeds, despite incompatability. Purple colour of variety purpurea foliage is attributable to anthocynanins, with green colour dominant to purple. Manipulation of flowering could underpin a flowering pot plant industry. |
