What can be deposited
- Adelaide University theses only, PhD or Masters [by research only]
- The thesis must have been officially awarded by Adelaide University
Theses format
- Before completing the deposit form you will need to convert your thesis into PDF format.
- Please use Adobe Acrobat v.6.0 and ensure that the magnification is set to 100% [the usual default is 125%].
ADT Program filename
- When creating the PDF files you will need to conform to the approved ADT Program filename standard.
Security setting
- Do not set document security. This will be done by the Library.
Restricting access to your thesis

The ADT ideal is unrestricted worldwide access, however,
there are circumstances when theses need to be restricted
wholly or in part, for varying periods. The options available
for the ADT Program are:
- no restrictions - worldwide access;
- restrict to Adelaide University network only - remote access available to current staff & students via authentication;
- restrict all access for certain period as set out in the Calendar - when this period has elapsed, access can be either Adelaide University only or worldwide;
- certain theses files can be completely restricted [copyright, libel, etc] while others can be accessible as per the two options above.
- Please Note: this partial restriction is not available via the deposit form and you will need to identify the files concerned to the ADT coordinator.
